Every year thousands of Swedes are training hard to get the diploma for A Swedish Classic. Tylö is now initiating collaboration with the organization behind this concept and Tylös will attend all future competitions.

In order to perform A Swedish Classic one has to complete a series of four different races; Vasaloppet or Engelbrektsloppet (skiing), Vätternrundan (cykling), Vansbrosimmet (swimming), Lidingöloppet (running). Since the concept was formed in 1971, more than 80,000 diplomas have been handed out and interest in the races is steadily increasing.

– We are very proud and happy for this new collaboration. A Swedish Classic is a public health movement perfectly in line with Tylös core values, says Mikael Lundström, Sales Manager at Tylö.

The races are extensive and strenuous, whether you choose to go for the original version, A Half Classic or A Womens Classic. All races must be carried out within a period of twelve months in order to be rewarded with a medal and a diploma.

– To do the Swedish Classic requires focus, discipline and training. But in order to succeed, recovery and relaxation are equally important and a must for building strength, stamina and endurance. This is where our concept Relaxology enters the picture, says Mikael Lundström.
