TyloHelo were commissioned to work alongside interior designer Ozlem Ipek, on a bespoke sauna and steam project for a prestigious client based in Highgate.
The brief was to create a compact sauna and steam room which would complement the client’s existing home bathroom and gym whilst using innovative design and the highest specification. TyloHelo were happy to be involved from the design stages through to completion.
Specialist contractor All Done Design was commissioned to carry out full refurbishment on the property and worked with TyloHelo to integrate the two units into the overall design of the bathroom areas.
Contrasting timber sauna interior
The sauna interior displays a striking combination of pale abachi and dark thermo treated Aspen. This contemporary look is complemented by the luxurious swing interior.
Sauna storage solution
Hidden drawers to the base of the sauna make use of the space created by the differential in height between the client’s bathing area and the home gym.
Sauna heater
Helo’s RING sauna heater provides a visually stunning focal point. The irregular natural stones and exterior geometric shape complement each other beautifully allowing heat to radiate evenly and rapidly in every direction.
Steam room Interior
The all glass fascia and frameless door create a wonderful feeling of space and light allowing the steam room to act as a continuation of the bathing area.
Steam room bench seating
Innovative and practical, the free standing benches continue the monochrome theme used in the steam room with continuous black and white circular tiling.
